The Ballad Of Grimaldi (B-Side Version) - Peter Doherty |
] |

While there's still a fighting chance Can't you just get up and go And get away from this hollow romance It's slowly binding us both Because you tell me what you want and I'll avoid it Tell it to the sick and to the damned Show me what you love, watch me destroy it For love just crumbles in my hands
But if you stay for a while.. Try to think of something nice to say Maybe if we pray for a while St. Jude, she might hear my pleas And see me on my bended knees
She knows how I adore you Don't wanna be fighting tonight She knows I adore you There won't be fighting in the street.
I laugh and fall just like Grimaldi You wear your make-up like Baby Jane All of those promising lies that you told me Come on and tell me them again
Oh well, I walked these streets all of my life.. The fear and hope at every turn She took him to Stepney and made him a wife Everyone said they'll crash and burn
Because she'll tell him what she wants and he'll avoid it May as well tell it to the sick and to the damned Show him what you love, watch him destroy it For love seems to crumble in his hands

I have rubbed my fingers raw trying to unscrew the battery grip from my camera. It won't budge. It doesn't help that I wasn't sure which direction would loosen it. I have a blister on my thumb and it is truly stuck. Has this happened to anyone? Any tips on how to loosen this fucker without damaging my fingers/battery grip?

| Emmy The Great - History Of Britain |
[21 Oct 2009|11:12pm] |
I wanted to post a video of this song but I can't find one, so here are the lyrics...
EDIT: and here is the song!
Death is a bird, it steals ribbons we only get the heart we're given. Those were the hands that I felt beneath my clothes Then you faded into middle distance. I make a graph of the history of Britain What has changed will not be different these lines will never change You were mine one time but not again.
You say: My Girl, My Girl, You should be sure These things you dream of are not yours Wake up and see the planet that you live in. And I say whats the point in getting on The earth will turn, we'll both be gone We're just another moment on the timeline of the History of Britain.
You talk but you still say nothing I only want to hear my heartbeat stopping But stay if you don't have anywhere to go I hate to be alone I'm want fire everytime you light a cigarette I want love in your eyes I want a rose with ever step Now you say that you are tired of trying And I say that I am tired of you.
You say: My girl, my girl you should be sure these things you want will never be yours A lady and a lord for every vision And I say whats the point in getting on The earth will turn we will soon be gone We're just another moment on the timeline of the history of Britain.
The mystery you offer me Will never be solved I want to jump and take you with me when I fall. The mystery you give to me Will never extend Oh I will jump and take you with me when it ends.
You say: My girl, my girl you should be sure Your eyes will tell you stories but the world they give is never your decision And I say Why do you talk to me at all? We're born and end, we're moved along We're just another moment We are the history of Britain.

Today at work this little kid was getting books out with his mum, when they'd finished she told him it was time to go, he ran over to the stairs going back up to the library, smiling and giggling. That's not where we're going, she told him, we're going outside. In a split second the smile wiped right off his face. He dropped to his knees, fell forward, palms and forehead to the floor, and BAWLED.
Yeah, sometimes I feel like doing that.

You have to work to carve out your own little corner, and I'm certainly smacking my head against the wall trying to make a dent. I just hope I don't get brain-damaged before I get there. - Rose McGowan

[26 Sep 2009|12:42am] |
But oh how it feels so real Lying here with no one near Only you and you can hear me When I say softly slowly
Hold me closer tiny dancer Count the headlights on the highway Lay me down in sheets of linen you had a busy day today
